Run All Races

Inspired by a project for a friend I built an race registration platform. It specializes in virtual races but can handle races of any kind. You are able to track anything from lap based races, crossfit workout, fixed distance races, and more.

Some Ideas I have been playing with

After the 2016 Olympic games there was a discussion about when and if women would be able to catch up to men in their performances. What I did was analyze the times of men and women over time to see what the difference was and when they were equal.

Have you ever wondered how much a day is worth? Well philosophically you could say the current day is worth everything, and so on. But each day is a different percentage of each persons life as they age. When you are born your first day is 100% of your life, second day 50% and so on. I wrote a handy script to calculate it based on your birthday.

During a drive I heard the phrase, for the who knows how many times, "That's worth it's weight in gold." But is it? Based on the current price of gold - you can put in any item, it's weight, and price to determine if it is.

Photography

In my previous career I worked as an event, wedding, and corporate photographer for 10 years in New York City. I covered events such as NY Fashion Week, Super Bowl, Oscars, VMAs, and basically anything else you can think of. I also worked as the in house photographer for the New York Stock exchange for several years before changing careers.
